How long will it take for my cabinets to get here once they are ordered?
Tru-Wood usually delivers within 3
weeks of the date ordered. Can I personally pick out the granite or marble slabs I want? Yes! We recommend that you go directly to Bedrock International or Dal-Tile, both located in Lenexa, KS. We just ask that you let us know when you’re going, that way the folks at Bedrock or Dal-Tile will be expecting you. It’s always good to have an idea of what you’re looking for before you go, and Tiffany’s has a nice display of samples for you to browse through. I’ve heard that granite is hard to take care of, is this true? No. Granite should be treated with the same amount of care as any countertop. The owner may choose to seal their granite once a year, but it may not be necessary to seal it that often. Depending on how porous the granite surface is will determine how often you may want to seal it. As with any countertop surface, you will want to use cutting boards, coasters, and not set anything hot directly onto the surface. Warm water and a dish soap to clean should be all you need; no harsh abrasives should be used on granite or marble, no bleaches, or citrus based cleaners should be used on granite, as these products may damage the finish.
